Visa - TEMPORARY WORK/TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

 

REGULATIONS

·         Foreigners travelling to Brazil to work under a contract require either a temporary work visa or a technical assistance visa. Please note that it is the employer’s duty to carry out all formalities at the Ministry of Labour and Employment in Brazil for the contract’s approval. Work visas can only be issued once this Consulate has received authorisation from Brazil. Technical assistance visas are issued for a maximum stay of ninety days.

·         Passport should be valid for at least six months.

·         First entry into Brazil must be made within 90 days from the date the visa is issued. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure the application is lodged accordingly.

·         Applicants must have lived in Bulgaria for at least one year prior to the visa application.

·         Registration with the DPMAF should be made within 30 days of arrival in Brazil. For this purpose, make sure to take the second copy of the application form which will be returned to you duly stamped by this Consulate.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A VISA APPLICATION

·         Passport (the Consulate reserves the right not to endorse soiled, damaged or defaced passports).

·         Two application forms completed and signed by the applicant.

·         Two passport-size photographs.

·         Certificate of Prosecution/Conviction History .Certificate of Prosecution/Conviction . This document may be obtained at  a Reginonal Tribunal of Justice or at the Sofia Municipal Tribunal of Justice. Note that it may take up to 10 days for the document to be issued

·         Certificate of vaccination, if necessary (see enclosed information).

Consular fee US$ 100.00( dollars)

·         All consular fees should be paid in cash (US dollars) at the Consulate
